Hi guys was given a brochure about mallanats this year being held on 1st December
It has a section where car clubs can cruise up together park on the lawn for the day with discounted tickets ($20 instead of $25). I havent got all the info as it doesnt give a cost of the parking area nor a minimum number of cars. Also it says genuine car clubs, so not sure whether or not we qualify for this. Anyway here is the link if any one wanted to check it out

Cheers

If the drift car was going I'd be entering the Drift Asylum.. but alas, I'm finally sick to death of the G180Z, and will be tearing her down for serious work.

Ok yeah had a chat to Ethan probably 1 not a suitable event and b we aren't a proper club lol.. Anyway we did both agree perhaps a cruise to a more local event like matsuri or something equivalent would be good

Well, if enough people want to, then there's no reason why we can't do a cruise up there with however many Gem owners want to go (I probably wouldn't because it doesn't really interest me hahaha). We'd just have to pay the same entry as everyone.

I need to pull my finger out and organize another cruise anyway, but I'm not driving a Gem around period, now that the diesel is defected. That means I'd have to go in my Cefiro, which is kind of a different car altogether eh?...

There were quite a few Gem guys out at Mallala Matsuri for a look the other week (Tunney and Mitchell, and I think someone else as well), so there's no reason why that couldn't work.
The next Matsuri is actually being held at Tailem Bend on the 2nd/3rd of November, and I'm planning on having the Coupe there to drive in Street class. Could be an idea, although Tailem is a bit out of the way for most compared to Mallala.
