Well, our time on the 'nixbix' server came to an end. I have obtained some rack space and a brand new (well, not really, eeebay) 1ru server and hooked us up. Were now located on a fast ethernet connection straight in to pipe networks adelaide (vs server space in dallas, USA) and although we didnt have any speed problems its even faster again. Move went so smoothly I dont think anyone even noticed! :ugeek:

I know theres some geeks around here, and maybe its just the beers but I have to say...

[ant@ant ~]$ ping
PING (119.252.x.xx) 56(84) bytes of data.
64 bytes from (119.252.x.xx): icmp_req=1 ttl=55 time=17.0 ms
64 bytes from (119.252.x.xx): icmp_req=2 ttl=55 time=14.8 ms
64 bytes from (119.252.x.xx): icmp_req=3 ttl=55 time=13.8 ms
64 bytes from (119.252.x.xx): icmp_req=4 ttl=55 time=14.3 ms
--- ping statistics ---
4 packets transmitted, 4 received, 0% packet loss, time 3003ms
rtt min/avg/max/mdev = 13.893/15.062/17.095/1.233 ms

Hell yeah! Doesnt get much better than that! :) Especially for us South Australians!
