Listen to the crowd at the end ;)

Seen it many times, also look up Eaglehawk Neck under the same user.
This is what actually inspired me to buy an E1 and plan to turbo it, that thing f**king pulls with only a little bit of boost.

Their current car is pretty cool, running a 161 base pumping out 90rwkw NA, must be tuned to the hilt to achieve that though...

Also, why aren't there more Gems in Targa Rallies? I'd love to at least enter the Classic Adelaide, just to go nuts on the roads I drive everyday, in a car built to do it.

You'd have to find other rallies to go into Eithan. the adelaide classic has'nt been going for 2 yrs now. Went broke and as usual our state government will never help/fund motor sport in this state.

You guys do know it was on 2 weeks ago right? Under a new name and finance.

I watched it from a clifftop on the Gorge (Awesome fun btw).

Only classic cars up to '89 are eligible now, so in my opinion it's a lot more interesting. There were plenty of Escorts there, but no Gems :(

Once the drift car's turbo i'd probably enter it in serious street grip events :D

Lol at the silver spoon rally. It's around $5000 entry fee + fuel tyres, repairs and transport.

I prefer the "midnight classic Adelaide" ........done in the wee hours of the morning over the same roads, only no entry fee

: )

Yea but then that can involve, loss of car, huge fine, no licence and plus no insurance it anything if you drive a race car (won't be covered under insurance), then you've got that slim change somebody is actually driving through and you smash into each other. Then we have hospital/funeral costs (for both people), big car bills, etc etc, so stuff that ill pay the 5000

Even though I do Touge on a regular basis, probably more than anyone else here, I'm with Chris on this one. Having the ability to go full tilt, taking the right lines, with no fear of someone coming the other way, while still having the thrill of environmental unpredictability, is part of the allur of a sanctioned event like that.

When I do runs, I stick to the generous limit, and stay in my lane, because I don't want to die, or be responsible for someone else's death. You can have fun on your own while being safe and sensible, but you can have a lot more when it's all regulated, and that's worth the money IMO.
