Soooooo nice, I have limitless respect for cars like this. My mate's building an Escort to about this standard, my jaw drops whenever I see it, green with envy doesn't even start. Can't wait to see it out.

It's not even mine and my jaw drops when I walk past it. I can't imagine how my dad would feel walking past all his hard work. But I'm unbelievably keen to get it out on the track! :)

After having a bit of trouble with my Gem dad said "I don't see why you're using this when there's a $25,000 purpose built track car out the back". So I replied with... "Get the fucking thing done and I'll drive it any chance I get!"

So, after the Gem's rebuilt, We'll start work on this beast and hopefully get it out to some Track Days, Sprints and then start racing :)

But I still want to do some hillclimbs in the Gem, Just to blow the cobwebs out :)

Just a few little things..

Front Spoiler, Rear View mirror, Fire Extinguisher, Bump Steer Corrected, and a few other things that have escaped my mind.

Got the car down off the hoist cause dads mate wanted to look under his, so I took it as a perfect opporunity to take some snaps.

Sits at the PERFECT height.

And here's an amazing bit...
Dad customised the box over months to get the shortest throw possible. Pay close attention to the bottom of the shifter, as the tops angled and makes it look like it moves alot more than it does.

There you have it. :) The result of years of research, experience and skill.

I have seen this car, and i have to say it is a work of art. This has inspired me to do my track car and to a very high standard aswell. Its all the little things that has been done to this car that makes it what it is. You'll be loving it if you get a chance to take it out on the track. Wont be far behind you in my gem track car. Remember CAZZ, I'm catch'n ya mate!

I get a sense of pride everytime I walk passed it. I just look at stuff I normally wouldn't and it's been customised. I 100% agree with the comment about all the little things.

Oh, hopefully it's not TOO long away, It might be a while before it's racing though.
I'll be keen to give you a run for your money with the track car! Keep me updated with what's going on. Always keen to see a nice car. :)
