It is, but its a bit louder at wide open throttle, and the camera picked up the engine noise well. Its not silent, but its not as loud as it sounds in the vid.

You dont like track rubber 205s on 14" bmw rims? They did look dirty (as they were dug out of my mates shed the night before) but with the traction issues I was having even with them im glad I did not have to run the 175 street rubber I normally do.

That's track rubber? Fair enough! They looked like old crossplys on the wear bars :P

Nice!! I've gotta get mine fitted soon, I've got all the bits together (including the 4x100 discs) but just haven't got around to dropping the diff off. Always something else to spend money on, you know? But soooooon....

Yeah, I had to get axels manufactured. The 28 spline 'gemini' axels i bought from ebay 5 years ago turned out to be 2 left hand side skyline axels, and they were slightly too long, and the wrong stud pattern and couldnt even be modified to suit because had the wrong spacing between the end and where the bearings sit. I got these commo ones modified for 4x100, and shortened but still at 28 spline for $500 so was pretty happy with the result there.

Have test driven it today, it feels nice, but I need to put some kms on it to run it in before i go hard on it.

Watch out for rust Eli, it was allready forming on my diff center, but didnt cause any problems.

So, I had to take the windows out and found the beginnings of rust, and not that many years after I had the full rust clean up and respray. Not happy about that! Sounds like I should have renewed the window rubbers at that time, but I didnt, and water would have pooled here. There was also a bit of surface rust around the front and the rear windows. So I figured I'd better get on to it and sort it out before it get worse, and get some new rubbers/locking strips on there to to try and get 30 years out of it instead of 4 or 5. The rust repairs have turned out well, and the rubbers and locking strips are on order so hopefully this time it'll be good!

Nice job : D

Good to see some repairs that don't turn into a fully rebuild : )
