so i said this in the cruise section but i think these are all good ideas..i was thinking maybe even having monthly meetings or something like that as i have seen them organising them on the gemini facebook page. also a bbq/catchup/cruise at semaphore in those large carparks. Line the gems up, a big GemiSA banner in front of them and in the summer we will attract heaps of attention from passes by. Also it is family friendly down the beach there with playgrounds and stuff..Just my thoughts, i am happy (with some help lol) to organise a night like this.

Another thing that was also suggested by someone (not sure who?) was a swap-meet sometime. Maybe the first sunday of every second month? Then a drive after that?

Something else I was thinking was maybe events such as go-karting or paintball skirmish :)

All good ideas! And good stuff Ant for kicking off the forum changes. Agreed on Technical Chat and Gemini Chat - what's the difference! :D

Also, completely agree that if we get bigger, more subforums may be in order, but for now, less is more!

With the cruises, I'm mindful of having them "too often" and having reduced turn-outs; if something's happening every other week, people will get lax and just wait for the next time around. If we organise meets or casual cruises more commonly, awesome! Go for it guys, but I say we keep official cruises somewhat limited, so that (as Morgan said) those with other commitments are still inclined to make the effort for when it really counts.

Pavlos, with the stickers, I request that, if possible, we go with the OzGemini font and sizing, so that we can happily put both stickers on our cars without killing the taste with conflicting fonts/styles! I think I have the font somewhere, too! I'll have a dig.

Also, I'm good with graphics (when I need to be) so I'm happy to tack up some more banners!

Too easy. Just send me what you want in a .jpg file with exactly how you want them and the Mrs can email the place with the pic and sizes and get prices. I think ordering +10 you get them cheaper as well.

Alright, I've done a bit more tinkering with the forum layout, and merged some forums. Hopefully I haven't broken anything, this is the first time I've really done this  but I think it's alright. Sorry if the site's been dodgy for anyone tonight while I was mucking around! Any suggestions/feedback, let me know!

I'll try to get a picture for the stickers soon!

Can we PPPPLLLLLLLEEEEEEAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSSEEEEEEEEEEEEE have a GemiSA go-karting day? We can do a Grand Prix. $60 =
- 10 minutes practise
- 10 minute qualifying
- 3 10 lap races
- 1 15 lap race

Winner walks out with a Trophy. :)
I'm keen to add another Trophy to my collection, and I'm keen to actually have some competition! (Undefeated 12/12 times, not that I'm bragging or anything but I beat Casey Stoners lap record :) )

Can we get a sub forum in technical reference for well written tech conversions with pics and other facts / information that only a Mod can post in. Can these be embedded in the site so that the pics won't disappear if a photo buck account is removed ?
The oz gem tech section is full of broken links which is a little annoying.

This is the facebook page of the person who does the decals, I can get in contact with her after Christmas because we are flat out and order a bulk lot. Just thought I'd share so you can see what she can do (it is a bunch of hippy parenting stuff though, lol, but she does customs!).
