is anyone able to find the specs for torquing the head and able to translate to english?

2-16 (scanned page 22) looks like it.

The diagram shows 10 kg-m. The text in the paragraph above that reads 8 kg-m.
Without deciphering, I am going to guess torque to 8 kg-m, then torque again to 10 kg-m.

The G200Z manual says torque to 6.0 kg-m and then torque again to 10.0 kg-m.

Kilograms meters (Kg m) × 9.804 = Newton meters (Nm)

so 78.432 then 98.04 Nm
or 57.86 then 72.33 ft-lbs

This is my original G200W gasket. Sizes are on the pic to take measurements if required. Theres slight damage bettween cylinder 1&2 but overall its straight.

looking for the valve clearances.

Scanned page 2-4. PDF page 16.
About halfway down on the right side of the left page.
The little chart says Valve Clearances. Top line says Inlet: .13. Bottom line says Exhaust .23.

The G200Z manual shows intake .15 mm and exhaust .25 mm. So the unit in the Japanese manual would be mm. And they are a little tighter than the SOHC (which is rocker style instead of shim on bucket).

The chart on the facing page in the G200W manual shows all the part numbers for the range of shim thicknesses. That's a wider range than the 4XE1 engine.

G180W/G200W Head bolts: M12x1.5mm 170mm long.

Looks like SR20DET uses either M11 for RWD or M12 for N14 Pulsar GTIR from factory, so GTIR M12 studs look suitable.

Pretty cool that the M12 Kits are a common upgrade for normal SR20DET, and we get the stronger size from factory :)

The ARP kit is commonly available.

ARP part number 202-4303

They are 188mm long. But it looks like there is enough thread on the stud and enough space where its needed that it all should fit.

The corse threaded section is approx 35mm and the fine thread section is approx 32mm

Jason (blackcoupe) has advised me that sr20 H-beam conrods fit the G200W, making them easy to replace and upgrade.

G200Z bottom end bearings with the oil trench are also a nice upgrade over stock bottom end bearings.

Mazda Bravo / Ford courier alternators fit with minor modifications. I needed to drill out the front mount point to 10mm for the original bolt to fit, and I swapped in an 8Mx40mm bolt and nut to make the rear mount fit. The original locating bolt at the top fitted OK.
