Hey all
I recently purchased a property and with the property came a 83 model TG gemini slx. It was purchased new by the last owner for his wife in June 83. Still got the original purchase receipt and books. It's got 107,000 on the clock which I'm told is original. By the look of the condition of car I believe this to be genuine. Interior is perfect with no rips or tears. Back seat looks like it ain't ever been sat in! Exterior is original white paint. No rust in body anywhere. Passenger guard has a mark from hitting a gate, but nothing major.
Just wondering what sorta cash this would be worth? Am going to sell it as its no interest to me but not sure what its actually worth!
It drives great and has a few dealer fitted options that were fitted when new.

Let me know what you think it's worth. Ill try grab some pics and post up soon. Cheers

sorry to ruin the party, but if it's in that good condition you could ask from $2000 to $3500. but finding someone who is that keen on a Gemini might be a little hard, the younger generation is mainly interested in silvia's and skylines... so in the end it's only worth what someone is willing to pay...

best of luck with the sale.

Just as a comparison I just bought a 2001 Holden Vectra sedan with 120,000 kms on the clock, 2.6lt V6 manual with aircon and dual airbags and brand new tyres for $4,000.... just saying

i agree, i'd go chasing 1.5 to 2k, someone will love it for that :), but its worth what somebody will pay, and i dont think you'll get cashed up die hard collectors for another 10 years on late model gems

Pics will make or break it. I'm with Antus on the price, I reckon $1500-$2000 is reasonable, but if it was absolutely showroom with no marks you might see double that. It'll also be about waiting for the buyer. It took me 2-3 months to sell my KE20 Corolla, and I was offered $1500 for it on numerous occasions, but in the end I got $2400 (was asking $2500). If it's actually a special or desirable car, you just have to wait it out.

I'm so keen for a good shell, but it sounds too good to butcher up into my special creation. :(
