Today I manage to connect to the ECU via my consult cable and Nistune on my MacBook. I picked up a consult plug from a N14 pulsar at u pull it and wired it into the engine harness using the guide found here:

http://www.plmsdevelopments.com/consult_wiring.htm

I made a bit of a video of it working if anyone is interested. It's not very excited but I thought it was pretty cool! :D

The idle seems a little bit high for me but it is a cold start. What do you guys think?

Cheers,

Mitchell

Looks good! Im not sure what cold idle should be, but that doesnt seem unreasonable. At any rate you can get to know what normal is now and keep an eye on things in the future.

Yeah on second thoughts I think the girlfriends celica idles above 1000rpm when cold so that's not too far off.

I collected a bunch of parts off Ethan on the weekend. So I'll be making up a temporary exhaust, putting in a new loom and start piecing together a working heater. Progress is being made (even if its the boring kind) despite the lack of funds. Thankfully there are a bunch of really nice blokes out there to give a hand! ;-)

I agree with both these comments! Does anyone have any clever ideas (cheap ones prefferably) on how to join my stock Gemini exhaust to my 2.5" dump pipe?

A doi! I ain't got a welder unfortunately! What I meant was that the pipes are two different sizes, so can anyone recommend somewhere I could buy an adaptor from?

an exhaust shop probably would do it for not much. they have standard flanges sitting there and its far less than a full system. I recommend AAA exhausts in Richmond.
