I wonder if I can make the forums email anyone whos interested on any post, any where.... that might help.

Im happy to see some people are still coming though. I dont see many cars on the roads though, and ozgem has most the aussie traffic.

Hotgemini died when it was hacked and then not restored for about 3 or more years.. At least this place is still operational! Its the lack of gems and the lack of users that make it a bit quiet. In fact is about where the bellett scene was 10 years ago.

Pavols, good to see you back! Whats the plan for the car?

Plans are to clear the defect first lol.

Because of a tight budget, its going satin black for now, black TE bumpers PF60 style, keeping the slx chrome, sitting on dished hotwires or jellybeans. One day once if driven it for a bit I'll get it sprayed a decent colour. I'm going to retrim most of the interior. Make door cards up, smooth the dash a bit and the consoles etc.

Pretty much like this black one but no scoop and some chrome bits and square headlight grille.

I want to build a G161z up for it, bore it a bit, bit of head work, carb or two lol. havent really decided yet but there's so much that can be done I guess. Even thinking of using a G200 crank and stroking it too. Remember reading a bit about it on OzGem last time I had the car lol.

It's in rattle-can etch primer at the moment as some bare metal was starting to rust a little from sanding it back. Not too fussed on the looks as when the defects off I can drive it to a painters and they can do it properly one day.

Next on the list is the crossmember to come out and I'll be painting it black and replacing all the ball joints, tie rod ends, rack ends, rack boots, bushes etc.

Ill write a bigger post with more as I think of it.
