That's what I like to see! Welding for rigidity... It feels so good! I've done a fair bit to the front end and engine bay on my formerly rusty TE :)

Hello ghost town!!

So while the race car waits for a track day collecting dust with the battery on charge my attention has drifted to the next rust lump in the shed.
The main aim is to get it neat, clean and driving, I'm not going to strive for perfection but aim to enjoy getting to drive the car in the near future.

The front end is the focus for now, under guards are in chassis black an seam sealer, the 1/4 panels and front sill have been soda blasted and etch primed ready for some metal filler and last the x member has been powder coated is satin black.

Hopefully over Xmas I will get the interior sprayed and sound deadened and the doors back on..

Good stuff, it's a familiar sight to me after doing similar things to Abi, my TE sedan!

It sure has been quiet around here, what with Facebook groups and all that.. but good to see you posting updates! Keep up the good work :D

front panel is all primed and ready to be glued / bolted back in place, next is the repairs / mods to the front 1/4 panels, yup GTS flutes and VY indicators! a bit it's been done before but the car came with the flutes and I want it to tie in with the monaro colour I'm painting it! the VZ indicators are purely because original ones in good condition are hard too find!!
