Pics:
-will write some more stuff later when I have more time.

This car has been in progress for over 6 years... (race car, house, kids, wedding ect ect) I find it hard to make time but I wont give up and keep chipping away to get to the end result.. "it won't happen over night, but it will happen" (facepalm)

Specs: rust, bog , bits missing, no wheels, no interior, or panels and doors..... ( I'm a bit of an optimist)

Goal:...
This car is going to be set up as a improved street car, built the way they should have come out of the factory. I have been collecting parts for this car over the last 5 years and have most of the major bits to complete the job.

~~~Engine, Gearbox & Diff~~~
G180Z- dished pistons, copper head gasket
T28 turbo
2" SU carby (draw through setup)
Gemini 5 speed with a Rodeo remote shifter
VL LSD cut down, with a four link rear and watts link
~~~Brakes, Wheels & Suspension~~~
Hoppers VT front kit
VL rear disks and calipers
15x7 cop rims black with a chrome lip (front) (205/ 50/15)
15x8 cop rims with chrome lip (rear) (225/50/15)

~~~Body & Paint~~~
Colour: (Monaro Pulse Red)
Black (matte) bumper bars
Hq flutes
VZ indicators
Yup that's the plan.
It's kind of Ironic that my user name insinuates that I have a turbocoupe, but in reality I have never driven a turbo petrol car (apart from a 1.4 ITI cruze) and have only every had NA gemini's or twin cams
is that the engine in your avatar, ready to go when the shell is?
I remember staring in the engine bay of your IPRA tx at mallala for a full minute before it clicked that there was no turbo in there haha.
Rust repairs on the one above look good.
Good to see I'm not the only one with loooooooong term projects.
Looking good turbocoupe75. I like your spec list. Not too over the top. (except for maybe the 4 link etc but wouldn't we all like a 4 link? ;) )
Good luck with the build.
The four link rear is mainly because I got the VL LSD for free, and I may change motor plans in the future to something with a ... Little more grunt.... Along the lines of a legal SIDI....(dreaming, but don't we all at some time)
