I've been doing some reading and I think I have it pretty well worked out. Just trying to think of an easier option for the oil return than tapping a fitting into the sump. There is a whole heap of great information on turbogemini.com. I would recommend reading his build. He goes into a great deal of detail on all the problems he's had along the way.

1 - Where do I get my oil feed from? Off the side of the block near the oil filter?

2 - Where will the oil return line need to go? Dipstick?!! lol 8-)

3 - Where is the best place to tap in for the coolant lines?

Thanks in advance if anyone has any knowledge on this stuff. Perhaps Eli will be some help after all the fun he has been having with his Piazza! :D

This is what I was on about on the cruise! Seeeee I'm not crazy!

On 4Z motors there's a blockoff bolt on the exhaust side of the block for water (halfway up, a little towards the front of the motor), and another one for oil (much lower down, a little closer to the back). I can circle if there's pics but don't have any handy. As for the returns - oil is integrated into the Piazza sump, coolant is an extra fitting on the Piazza radiator, so you might need to get one added.

Nice! How far have they got with it? I haven't heard from them yet. Called about a week and a half ago and thy said they had machined the sump. You should bring your car out on the next cruise.

The back of the panelvan got an upgrade today! Some woodgrain vinyl nabbed from the building site and a rug from the hallway. Don't tell the missus! ;)

I take it the dog didn't want to move off the rug?
