Thanks Ethan but they were only a few quick snaps on my iPhone! Thought they looked pretty good so I put them up! The plastic bars look good but who ever it was who did the conversion was a bit dodgy. They can be a bit floppy at times and never hold themselves straight. Was thinking of doing a chrome bar conversion. I saw it done on a TG wagon on OzGem and it looked like sex!

Ok so I was on Kangroo Island for the the Surf Music Festival and while on my way to town one day it ejected all it's oil out the dip stick. It sprayed oil all down the passenger side of the car and all over the passenger side brakes. :o

I rang up the old man and he picked me up and drove me into town to get some oil and degreaser. I decreased the car and brakes, topped it up with oil and it was fine. We managed to get back to Adelaide in it with only loosing half a sump worth of oil!

So I was hoping this motor would hold out till I got the SR in the coupe but it looks like I will need to spend my savings on a new motor for this thing. I have taken my old Eli built g161 to Chris Milton to be bored out and rebuilt. I have had work done by them before and I'm pretty confident they are the best in town.

I'll put up some pictures when the motor comes back from the shop. 8-)

Hey guys,

As you probably have already read my car broke down about 7km out of Kingston just before new years eve. I was travelling to Falls Festival in Lourne, Victoria with my girlfriend when suddenly the car backfired and died in the ass. I called the RAA and a guy named Fozzy turned up in a VR Commodore and gave us a tow into town. Long story short my RB ignition failed but luckily Fozzy had a spare dizzy in his workshop and got me going the next morning. Legend!

Here are some pictures I took of the car. Two are where Fozzy towed us to camp the night down by the jetty. The other four are shots I took today after giving her a wash, a polish and another wash.

Cheers

Mitchell

I was set on doing it but this thing got in the way. I blew a motor and ended up spending all my money on getting a rebuild. Then there was Christmas, new years, etc and now I have ran out of cash. But this is the year of the coupe! My gf made me promised I would get it done. 8-)

Got this off of gumtree for $80 a couple of months back and hopefully it will make it onto the car. I have a few of questions about the turbo though.

1 - Where do I get my oil feed from? Off the side of the block near the oil filter?

2 - Where will the oil return line need to go? Dipstick?!! lol 8-)

3 - Where is the best place to tap in for the coolant lines?

Thanks in advance if anyone has any knowledge on this stuff. Perhaps Eli will be some help after all the fun he has been having with his Piazza! :D
