I'm with you Antus! The girlfriend has given approval after taking her for a drive. "it doesnt give me a headache anymore". Apparently the exhaust is too loud or something! Haha!

Looking great. Make sure that sub's fixed down reeeally well. You don't want to cop it in the back of the head in an acco.

I did have the sub secured once apon a time but I haven't got around to re doing it yet. I might have to give this car some attention soon. I've been driving on a spare for the past three weeks. I've been neglecting the poor girl. :(

On an up note, I ordered one of these last night.

I have always been pretty keen on this guys stuff but his gear has always been a bit out of budget for me. This module he has developed looks pretty good and it fits straight into a standard Gemini dizzy without modifications. It is also very reasonably priced. I'm not too keen on the old RB internals after one went pop on me half way to Lorne!

Good stuff, that looks like a decent kit. Agreed on the RB junk!

Interesting piece of kit. I know the RB internals can be used with a delco EFI conversion, I wonder if this one can too. It doesnt seem to have the reluctor sensor and the ignition part split up, so perhaps not. It does look good for your purpose though. At the bellett nationals I asked the guy who built the delco g180w about the rb module, he reckons hes never had a problem with one, so I wonder if its the coil driver part that dies, rather than the reluctor. Do you know which part failed on yours?

Ah yeah I believe it was the ignitor that blew. I put the new ignition in and it works a treat! Idle is more stable and has a different note when I open her up. It doesn't feel like the timing is perfect though. I just did it by ear because I don't have a timing light. If anyone has one I could borrow I'd like to give it a tweak!

I've got a timing light! I'm in Windsor Gardens, should be floating around Sunday if you're not doing anything :)
