New plans for this. No longer going to be built for the road as the engine/box combo wont be registrable and I have pretty much minter Statesman as a daily now. I am going to turn this into a track car, suitable for 1/4 mile/burnout/cruise the track events. Since nobody really wants parts for these, Im going to have to scrap the parts before I begin so I have room and then start the build.

If you're going to scrap parts, yell out - I'm sure people would take some if they're free. There aren't enough of us these days to actively need stuff, but if it's going to scrap metal I'm sure we can find some storage space!

This is how she sits now. Kinda hope it sells before I change my mind. Haven't done anything to it since it was parked, besides starting it and driving it up and down the driveway once a week.

I still feel irritated that this got defected and it's not even my car. Was not deserving of being picked on like that. There are cars that admittedly deserve to be pulled over when there are visible major rust issues or modifications etc but this looked fine..

Yeah, I know what you mean. I really want to see the defect on it cleared to. I will feel the pain if it doesnt happen. But I am not the one to do it.

^ What he said. I'm sure this could get un-defected. I've got a Gemini through regency before. One passed the first time, the other one failed for a few minor points, but I only have to fix those things now and it'll pass - they won't re-check the other things. Make sure the child restraint is accessible - if you have a parcel shelf with speakers in it, it might be blocking some of the bolts, so be careful.

Check the steering rack doesn't have play in the bushes, you can check this with a pry bar under the rack, mine had a ton of play. The heater/demister has to seem to work, they check whether the demister vents will blow hot air, even a little bit is fine.

custom shelf incorporates 2 of the 3 child restraints so might be fine but easy to pass regency just dont have the trme.
