"JDM spec" Tail/brake lights.

I decided that the outer tail light/inner brake light setup looked a bit pox, so I spent 10 minutes (literally) modding the stock loom to use twin filament globes and this is the result with tail lights only, no brake lights on.

Something simple, but just that little bit different to every other TE out there 8-)

Small update here, got a flat last night on the way home from work and had to drove about 10k's home at walking pace as I didn't have a 12mm hex socket on me, and I wasn't going to leave the car on the back roads out near the RAAF base/Davo park. FFS.

Also chucked on some polished wipers I got off Ethan. I think they look a lot better than faded black :)

In the near future I have a pair of late model mirrors, painted up RB handles in black with silver flecks through them, 32/36 weber, electronic ignition and big port head. Also will have Plastic bumpers and a reground cam to approx stage 1 to put in when I pick them up

That blowout sucks!

The wipers look the part though! Keep it up.

Trial fit of the new bumpers. Just have to drill 2 holes in the front guards so they sit straight and wire up the parkers and indicators. After that I need to use some black shoe polish on them to bring them back to life. Once I do that it should be looking pretty sweet :)

Got some cop rims chopped onto my car. Doesn't actually look too bad :)

All bolted up, just have to quickly shoot down to u-pull-it to grab a TG parker/indicator connector to make joining the lights up easier and neater. The bar does have a slight warp on the drivers side but it isn't too bad for its age. May just get some steel made up and stick it inside the bumper to hole it up flush. Still happy with it though :)

Picked up some new wheels on the weekend.

Going to run the 5.5in rims with 185/70's on the front to fill the guards out and 6in 185/65's on the back as the back is a little lower so rubber should be pretty much on the wheel arches back and front now. Painting the insides wither matte or satin black and polishing the lips at some stage. :)

Also fitted a 32/36 weber again. Experimented with jets from a spare carby and its given it a new lease of life. Also grabbed some nice cut and polis, so should be looking nice for the cruise :D.
