Thread's been a bit dead lately, because progress has been slow.

Entered the Henry Lawson and wrote up a list of shit I needed to do, got it done and did the event.

I spent stage 1 and 2 testing my grip limits and getting used to the different driving style, and then started to push on stage 3. Unfortunately the excessive vibration loosened my throttle cable adjuster which in turned tightened the cable. It got progressively worse over stage 4 and 5 and ended up idling at around 5 grand, so I pulled the plug on stage 6 so we could get it sorted.
We got it done and went back out hard and strong. Set some really nice times and had alot of fun. I rate the day very highly, but I still prefer my tarmac stuff over my rally.
A friend of mine who is behind MWP Sports Photography took some fantastic snaps over the day! I think they're a great indication of how much fun the day was.

Somebody seated in front of us cleaned up some tyres and unfortunately it was after a blind corner. I ended up collecting one, resulting in some minor cosmetic damage which can only just be seen in this pic.

Thanks guys!

I gotta say, it's probably the most fun you can have with your pants on! I do love my tarmac stuff, but it's really good to go out and have a slide in the dirt. Especially at an event like this, where everyone was chilled and having a laugh and ultimately trying to get the same out of the event as everyone - Fun!

So it's been a while since I last updated it, but that might be because nothing has happened, haha!

That's all about to change!

I have plans to re-spray the whole car, fit a front lip, fender mirrors and flares, convert to 114.3 stud pattern and run some mad hectic JDM wheels.
Will be going the same Monza red with a much better paint job and rust repairs, Either black or carbon wrapped front lip and flares. Black bonnet with a big Footner Motorsport sticker :D, LSD, New suspension all round, bushes and much much more.
The deadline is Easter next year for the Gemini Nationals. :)

This is how it stands....

I have alot of work to do. :(

Also this is a better picture of the damage from the rally.
