current tyres are 195/50/15 road tyres. have been thinking about the suggestions and think i'll try to build an adjustable pan hard, get a set of toyo r888 tyres, and put a locked 3.08:1diff center in, then see what that does for it. were going to double enter my mates rx7 next practice day so that should create a bit of time to get it sorted. theres a bunch of other smaller stuff on the list too.

Well.....

* dash backing plate
* more and working gauges (speedo, temp, oil, volts, fuel)
* extend the actuator thing for the 1" master so the pedal is up a bit further from the floor
* race spec brake fluid
* trans seal
* put the old king springs back in the rear
* adjustable pan hard
* track tyres
* 3.08 early model commodore locked diff center
* strengthened torque tube center
* finish the ecu programming for cold starts (got a mates coolant temp fuel correction table in, its a lot better, need air temp table as well)

then it should be sweet :) (well, rust repairs, paint.. sure more will come up.. thats enough to think about for now!)

Well, because It looks unbalanced between front and rear, and the springs are so far chopped im worried they might fall out if i hit a ripple strip. i was pretty happy with the cut-but-not-so-bad kings I had in there before so would like to put them back in.

In other news, I put a fuel gauge in last night. I dont want too many gauges down the front and have run out of room on the dash, and arnt going to be looking at it on the road so installed it in the boot.

thats all you really need, just check it between sessions and then you'll soon get to know how quick it uses fuel etc and no more head scratching when it runs out of fuel :D

I scored a good deal on a stack of 2nd hand track tyres. They have some tread on them, and arnt the best out there, but they are GG compound and I have 2 spares for after the first set of rears are shredded :)

Next track day is february.
