Hi all, just putting the thought out there?

I would love to see more people avoid the face book car sites and get back to normal forums. Face book dilutes the quality of information and is a shitty platform for selling stuff, nothing but time wasters and dodgy sellers.

I'm happy to continue contributions and help with info on here but not on Fbook. If others feel the same post updates on here so we can get back the close knit community.

anyway.. I'm aiming for the July 11 collingrove hill climb if any one is going!!

I'd like to bring it back! Facebook is just so easy because everyone is already on it. Its a shitty platform though. You hear the same questions asked over and over again because people can't look through old posts easily.

I'm thinking of doing an LS conversion and got some questions. How do I do it? Is it easy? Where do I find an LS? What is an LS? And can I get it registered........ 2 months pass... For sale Gemini- engine mounts cut out for hectic LS conversion but due to "health" reasons(Ice withdrawals) can no longer afford to continue with the project.

Or the usually "WTB a g180 g200, post up what you got" then 12 months later they ask the same thing and time waste you!!! farkers!
It's still the usual school holiday culprits who work at coles or have to pay for meth!!

Its been a while since ive dropped through, but ive been keeping the server and the forum software up to date and secure. I'll keep the lights on regardless of level of use. I figure just for info its good. Ive got some updates for the g200w info thread I'll have to post up soon. Ive figured out what alternator that is on my g200w twin cam is from. Its one of these http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/130553374965 :) I hope to pick one up tomorrow morning and have the gem back on the road soon. Partly for cruising and partly in prep. for the bay to birdwood!

Turbocoupe, Im still planning to give you a yell at some stage to see if you help with a bit of front camber in the track car. Have a brand new set of track tyres ready for the warmer weather. Needs some minor things, but not too much I hope... Its been too long!

Sure thing with the Suspension setup, Im going to order a few more bits to get some more camber on my car, also thinking about a quick rack with a little more lock to lock..
_ I will have to pick your brains at some stage as im collecting parts for the next engine in the gem. I have my D1 with big port head and turbo coming to together but need to start thinking about computer, injectors and dizzy options.

I have my entry in for the come and try day on the 11th July, and after that will try for some regularity's or practice days..
