Hey guys
Issue with the gem! Well it seems the fuel regulator is dying as i can sit there and watch the fuel run out in the filter until i unplug the regulator and the fuel fills up again and it runs beautifully! however leaving it undone seems that my alternator is not charging my battery. I have done the tests and my alternator is fine and I have also replaced it with another one that I know works however it still seems to be running out of charge!
Any help? I am thinking the two are interconnected somehow!

Cheers guys
Chris

Interesting - I'm pretty sure that if the car thinks the alternator isn't charging, it may cut off fuel. This is the crash/rollover protection. I believe the fuel pump is also on either the same or a similar circuit to the coil's +ve, though I'm not sure if that's before or after a relay.

Is your alternator wired correctly? Have you changed anything relating to the alternator lately?

Interesting info!
Nope haven't changed a thing! Only thing was the wires on the alternator plug fell off and I soldered them back on but they were in the exact place. But the fuel Issue started before all this came about! But could well be a cause of it

check the voltage across the terminals of the battery when the car is running, should be around 13 volts.

x 2 on a new regulator
