 Post subject: Central locking

Hey guys, Just wondering if anyone has ever bothered putting central locking in a their Gemini or heard of it as my locks are buggered and I'm thinking of getting it installed.

Yes it is possible and easy to do if your ok with a bit of wiring and fiddly mechanical work. Just buy a good kit. I had remote central with a boot popper to.

Yeah, ive got it in my car. It works ok, but make sure the locking mechanism is properly lubricated and moving freely when its installed. Mine wasnt and one of the bars in the door that delivers the force would bend slightly against the resistance and both doors (coupe) would not reliably unlock until I sorted that out.

Suggestions on a 'good kit'? What kind of brand would be worth purchasing? I would like to give this a go but as you say I def want a good quality set.
